New Blog Design!

I decided to redesign my blog. I chose the font and worked from there. :-) This is what I got:

Thoughts? The font is "The Doorman" from Free Scrapbook Fonts. If you would like I will make you a design here(for free). The picture was taken on a photo shoot with some friends this summer(not taken by me). In case you didn't know, it is of me. :-)

A Year of Blogging!

Today I have been blogging for one year! One year. One year of learning, growing in my faith, entering my teenage years, changing my blog name several times, faithful followers, growing from one follower to the thirty I have now, a year of imperfections that I never blogged about, and a year of love. I am so thankful that I have started this blog. I have grown considerably in my faith. I have learned allot about blog designing and photography. I have made new friends(including one today:). I have really enjoyed it. I can't wait to see what my second year of blogging holds.

I'm Not Perfect.

Did you get that? Let me say that louder(or bigger, whatever)

So why do we blog like we are perfect? Like we never make mistakes? Like our lives were the best and we had the perfect life? Like we are perfect? Yes, even I am guilty of being a "perfect blogger". Life isn't always perfect. Our hair and outfits are not perfect either. Sometimes we blog like everything is fine, but really everything is a mess. Sometimes we are crying while writing a happy blog post. Why not just write the truth? Instead of being ourselves we are really only showing our followers a girl with a wonderful life, hair, pictures, etc. Why not show your followers that you are just like them a sinner, with imperfect hair, blurry pictures, etc. Will you join the rebellion and post your imperfections along with your better things? Hi! Welcome back to Snapshot Saturday @ Younique! I have two surprises this week. The first is that Snapshot Saturday got a new button(winner's buttons will be changed soon)! Do you like the new button? Second, during the month of November, Snapshot Saturday will be hosted at your blogs! Would you like to be the lucky host of Snapshot Saturday for a week? Hosts will get their own Snapshot Saturday button(customized to fit their blog), get to be judge(or find a guest judge), and 2 weeks free advertising on my sidebar(there may be more added later)! Sounds fun, right? Just e-mail me if you're interested(please provide a basic about me, your blog address, and what weeks you are available to host).
