love

Valentine's day is pretty much centered around love. Valentines were handed out, chocolate was eaten, and cupcakes were made. The world's version of love is shown with hearts, the colors red and pink, chocolate, cards, and cupcakes, among other things. While I certainly do love all those things, Christ's love is different.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.  Love never fails.  1 Corinthians 13:4-8a
Did you show Christ's love this Valentine's day?  Will you strive and pray to show his love to others in the future?

Note:  I'm not saying celebrating Valentines day is wrong. I just wanted to show you what the Bible says about love.
