Last Football Game!
Today was my brother's last football game! It was allot of fun watching him even though they didn't win. I also enjoyed taking some pictures of the ice someone had dumped in front of where we were sitting.

Tucker got neutered....
Yesterday Tucker got neutered(so he can't father any puppies). We had it done at our local humane society. We dropped him off at 7:30am and since they were doing 25 other surgeries yesterday we picked him up at 5:45pm. When we got home he slept for about 20 min. Then he would pace and then lay down and then get up and pace.... he did this till about midnight. Finally he settled down enough that my mom(she slept with me because he was so restless) and I could sleep till about 4:00am when he had to go out. I fell back asleep till 10:00am(my mom got up with him about 7:50am). He has been sleeping most of today.
We also got him micro chipped yesterday. A micro chip is a little chip placed in-between his shoulder blades that can be scanned by vets and shelters. In case he would ever get lost they could scan it and read our contact information off of it. It is actually pretty neat! It nice for them that they could do it yesterday because they did it while he was still out from the anesthesia.

Today's Adventures!
Today my brother and I were watching an educational movie as part of our school and Tucker was sleeping at my feet. Or so I thought... Tucker was really chewing on my computer cord. Lucky I caught early enough that he only tore a tiny bit of the protective outside. Nothing a little bit of electrical tape couldn't fix. :-)

My other adventure of the day was getting to see these ADORABLE kittens!

(Taken by my mom) |
Their mother died and someone found them on the side of the road. They brought them to the humane society and our friends are fostering them! It was so much fun getting to play with the tiny kittens and even get to see one of them bottle fed!

Youth Group Fun!
On Saturday and Sunday nights I had youth group activities! On Saturday night my youth group had a pumpkin carving contest and some games! We played:
It was really fun! On Sunday night we had an afterglow at our youth pastors house! We could watch the Packers/Vikings game, play video games, talk, or play Apples to Apples! I played Apples to Apples with a several other people and it was a blast! They also had hotdogs, chips, dessert, soda, water, and juice there to eat. I decided to eat a hotdog, brownie, chips, and Mountain Dew. My family doesn't drink allot of soda and when we do we almost always don't have Mountain Dew because my mom doesn't like it. So I(being a dork) chose to drink Mountain Dew because I didn't want to have any caffeine because I was going to bed soon after I got home. Lol! I didn't realize that Mountain Dew is loaded with caffeine! :-) I was awake till 12:00am. Anyway I had a great time at both activities!

Electricity fail...
Last night half our town's power went out! It was out for over an hour. Anyway, it was fun that it didn't come back on till after we had all gone to bed so my brother, sister, and I got to sleep together! We had to go out to the garage and get our camping lanterns and flashlights. It was kind weird walking Tucker before bed because the street lights were off! Lol, we brought a flashlight!

Operation Combat!
In case you don't know Squeaks of http://squeakstheminstrel.blogspot.com is hosting Operation Combat for Emily over at http://emilyscancerblog.blogspot.com! Emily is a 16 year old girl who had been diagnosed with leukemia, today she is having a transplant and will have to be in isolation for at least a month afterwords. Squeaks came up with the idea of "fasting" something while Emily is in isolation. I have decided to "fast" a half hour of talking each day. Squeaks will also be posting a devotional each day while Operation Combat is going on. :-) Thanks Squeaks!

Funny Moments!
A couple of minutes ago Tucker had one of his "spaz" moments. It is where he runs and runs and then stops. Well today he decided to have it in the house(Normally he is only a "spaz" outside). He ran up and down the stairs like two times then ran, half sliding around the kitchen. Lol then after like 5 minutes of this he stopped and took a nice long drink and then came downstairs and fell asleep. My mom and I just stood there laughing at him run and slide. :-)
Yesterday I found him with one of our school papers in his mouth. He had torn off the bottom of my brothers paper and ate some of it. I guess my brother had the excuse: "My dog ate my homework."

Raking Leaves!
Fall is so much fun! Yesterday my brother went out and raked some leaves but today Tucker and I will go out and help him. Ok.... more like I will help him and Tucker will eat the leaves. :-) It is so much fun jumping in the big piles of leaves and playing in them! It will be interesting to see how Tucker reacts to us playing in the leaves.

After 1
After 2
Tucker didn't enjoy it very much. He kept barking and whining. :-( But anyway he made it. Lol the way he acting you would think the lady that was cutting his hair was killing him. Anyway... his hair looks allot less "fluffy" but I am getting used to it. :-)

The Story of Tucker
After lots of pleading, this summer(July 12) one day after my birthday we went and picked up my birthday present! :-) It was love at first sight when I saw those three squiggling 9 week old puppies! There were two girls and one boy. One girl(Tilly) had really pretty markings but was HYPER she was playfully nipping us while the other two weren't. The other girl(Cassy) was sweet and gentle, the runt of the litter but looked too much like a poodle for us. Then came Malachi a gentle but playful puppy. :-) We chose him and then got to bring him home with us! We renamed him Tucker and he is a really good dog! In case you were wondering he is a Golden-Doodle(Golden Retriever Poodle Mix). That is how we got Tucker, the best dog in the whole wide world!
Update on our van: Our van is fine we took it into the shop and they replaced the battery and now it runs great!

Bad beggining.... Great Trip!
We had packed the mini van and everyone was inside(even Tucker) ready to go to my dad's marathon... my dad went to start the van and it wouldn't started! At first we thought it was the battery so my dad hooked the van up to the car but it still wouldn't start. So we loaded up the car(leaving some not so important things behind) and drove up in that. You can imagine the swished feeling from switching to the car from the mini van! It worked out ok I think Tucker had the most trouble with it. I was so thankful though that the van didn't quit while we were driving! Here are some more pictures as promised:
It was a really beautiful and fun trip! I really enjoyed it. :-)

Fall is here!
Fall has moved in and the trees are already changing colors! It is so amazing to see them as I walk Tucker each morning! I am so thankful that God made seasons and not just summer or winter... all the time. Although I just started getting interested in photography I really think that my favorite "photography season" will be fall! The colors, weather, and beauty of it help me get better pictures!
